Love what you do – we make employment happen!
The Engineering Manager (Applied AI) at JobCloud leads the engineering team that builds AI capabilities, including agentic ones, into JobCloud’s recruiting products. The team owns each capability from the first prototype to a commercial feature in production. This hybrid role is full time and based in Porto, Portugal.
Applied AI is a new team with one mission: build AI capabilities into JobCloud’s Recruiting Process Platform products. Data Science leads model building and training, and the team owns the product engineering around it. As Engineering Manager, you shape the team’s roadmap, architecture and hiring from day one, together with Product Management, Platform and Security.
This role suits engineering leaders who still read architecture diagrams but no longer need their name on every pull request. You know when to coach, when to challenge and when to get out of the way. You build trust and work well with engineers who know more than you.
