Love what you do – we make employment happen!

The Technology Partnerships Manager at JobCloud finds, evaluates and onboards technology partners and makes sure each partnership becomes a product feature that creates value for customers. This is a new hybrid role in Porto, and you build JobCloud’s partnership activities largely from the ground up.

JobCloud is building an AI-driven, agentic recruiting marketplace: a platform where recruiters, job seekers and AI agents work side by side to find each other faster and better. But JobCloud does not build every capability itself. AI models, specialised AI services and integrations with the tools recruiters already use come from technology partners.

JobCloud HR Tech is the Porto, Portugal based company of JobCloud, Switzerland’s number 1 brand and expert in the job ads market. We build new software that helps companies spend their hiring budget efficiently and get their job ads in front of the right candidates, and we are hiring for the role described below.

What are we building?
We are building a new software that manages and optimizes how a customer uses their hiring budget. It identifies the best channels to maximize the visibility of each job ad and reaches the right target audience, meaning potential employees. AI and machine learning are key to this optimization. JobCloud conceived this product concept ten years ago, and we are now building it.

What is our mission?
We want to change how job ads are paid for: from Pay per Duration, where customers pay for the time an ad is online, to Pay per Performance, where customers pay for results.

WHAT ARE YOUR TASKS?

  • Identify use cases: Understand what recruiters and job seekers need, and work with the product team to find use cases where a technology partner delivers more, faster or better than building it ourself.
  • Scout the market for technology and AI providers that fit these use cases and build a pipeline of potential partners.
  • Define evaluation criteria with product and engineering, organise demos and proofs of concept, and compare solutions on customer value, quality, cost and fit with the platform.
  • Recommend and negotiate: Give a clear, well-founded recommendation for each partnership and prepare the decision for the leadership team. Negotiate commercial terms and technical and operational details such as SLAs, data usage and support.
  • Work with legal and finance on contracts and make sure partnerships meet regulations such as GDPR and the EU AI Act.
  • Implement: Act as main contact for the partner during implementation, remove blockers and keep integrations on track together with product and engineering.
  • Manage long term: Monitor performance and value, run regular reviews, handle concerns and escalations, and spot ways to expand or improve the collaboration. Track the AI and HR tech market and bring new ideas to the product teams.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS DO WE REQUIRE?

  • At least 3+ years of experience in a role where you evaluated, selected or managed technology solutions or partners. Typical backgrounds are partnerships, business development, vendor management, solutions consulting or product management.
  • Customer focus: Put yourself in the shoes of recruiters and job seekers. Judge a vendor’s solution by the value it creates for customers, not by its sales pitch.
  • Technical understanding: No coding needed. You understand how APIs and integrations work and can follow and translate engineers’ questions.
  • AI knowledge: Know what today’s AI models and services can and cannot do. Be excited about how they can change recruiting.
  • Negotiation and commercial sense: Discuss terms confidently with external companies. Balance value, cost and risk.
  • Communication: Build trusted relationships with partners, internal teams and leadership through clear and convincing communication.
  • Structured way of working: Set up a process where none exists yet. Run several evaluations in parallel and drive each to a decision.
  • English: business fluent

WHAT DO WE OFFER?

  • Team culture: A working atmosphere built on trust, mutual support and team spirit. JobCloud is a kununu Top Company 2026.
  • International collaboration: Work with colleagues across JobCloud’s international offices, including regular visits to Switzerland.
  • Training budget: A personal budget for your professional development.
